What should I do for my 21st birthday?
Okay my birthday isn’t until January 21st, (yeah next year) but I need some ideas to plan what I should do. I’m asking so early because
1. I’m broke!!! (should I start saving money? for a trip?)
2. Going to clubs is kinda boring now. (what can i do if i invite a lot of friends? or maybe just close friends?)
3. It’s in the winter. (is Las Vegas too cold?)
4. It’s on a Wednesday. (I don’t mind celebrating on the weekend but what else can i do during the week?)
5. Oh, and did I mention i’m broke?!!
I don’t know if i wanna celebrate big or small. A themed party or pack the jeep with friends to go somewhere. That’s why i need some ideas. Plus i’m gonna be 21 on the 21st (of January)!! (I was born on a good day!) ^_^
I agree with the whole “party at home” thing. Just save your money for food, decorations, and alcohol, so that way, if you have it at home, (or a friend’s house) you could invite everyone. …I’m actually turning 21 this month on the 22nd & I live in Vegas. Frankly, I think vegas is overrated. I’ve been to a lot of the clubs here with my older sisters (using their ID’s of course) and it really gets old. -It’s just always so crowded and expensive, and unless you go with a large group of girls, expect to wait in line to get into the clubs. I guess if you’ve never been to vegas and you really want to go, (and if you have a few hundred dollars to blow on travel, hotel reservations, restaurants, cover charges, drinks, tip money, etc.) then go for it. But you did say clubs are kinda boring- which I agree, plus if you’re broke you’ll spend WAY too much money here. The cheapest drink would be like $8 for a beer. It’s absurd. Oh and the question about Vegas if it’s too cold… You’ll be surprised how cold it gets here. Everyone thinks that just because it’s in the desert and because they’ve been there once in the summer time when they were a kid, they don’t think it gets cold. -It does- The year before last (3 years in a row) it snowed in certain parts of Vegas. Trust me, it gets pretty damn cold. Especially if you’re expecting to get dressed up all cute in a nice little cocktail dress walking around on the strip, I would think twice. Just my opinion. -For my 21st I might just go to dinner and a comedy club with a few friends and have a few drinks then take the party back to my house and order some pizzas and drink until the morning
